Learn more about the USTING Research Repository and its role in advancing research at ICCBI.
The USTING Research Repository is currently under development by the Research Development Center (RDC) of Immaculate Conception College of Balayan, Inc. (ICCBI), in close collaboration with senior students from the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) program. This initiative embodies ICCBI’s commitment to academic excellence, research integrity, and digital innovation.
The name “USTING” is a heartfelt tribute to San Agustin (St. Augustine), the patron saint of the Augustinian educational tradition that guides ICCBI. In Filipino colloquial terms, “Usting” is an affectionate nickname for St. Augustine—reflecting both reverence and familiarity. By naming the repository “USTING,” we honor our spiritual and intellectual roots while embracing modern scholarship.
Once completed, the repository will serve as a secure, searchable, and open-access digital archive for theses, capstone projects, faculty research, and other scholarly works produced within the ICCBI community. It aims to ensure that knowledge created at ICCBI is preserved, shared, and celebrated for generations to come.
